Please contact customer care for information on existing roaming partners as the list is updated on a regular basis.
What to do before you leave?
Contact customer care to ensure that your moblie account is activated for roaming.
Verify that the country you are visiting has a roaming agreement with us (Telcell /ANTTC).
Verify that your mobile is technically compatible.
You are advised to have a tri-band or a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) mobile.
Review the roaming rates for the country you are visiting.
Verify that any international call barring setting on your mobile is deactivate.
What to do before your arrival on our beautiful Island?
Contact your mobile provider to confirm that there is a roaming agreement with us (Telcell /ANTTC)
Verify with your mobile provider that your account is activated for roaming
Verify that your mobile can operate in the 900 band. Today most handsets support this common band.
You have the option to rent a compatible mobile from us during your stay on St. Maarten
Trouble Shooting
What to do when you have reached your destination and your phone is not picking up a network?
Check your network settings under phone settings and ensure that network mode and network selection is set to automatic. Refer to your device manual for assistance.
Try turning your mobile phone off and on again and see if it picks up the visited network.
